Deep in the sea of ocean blue 

A green turtle ponders through 

A white strand sticks to him like glue 

He swims to the top of the deep ocean blue 

He warms on the sand like deep-fried stew 

There he waits to bid adieu 

Until a friendly foe sees him lying there

But they pursue to walk along the oceans shore 

Leaving the turtle to ponder in despair 

The turtle lays beside the shore 

Awaiting his fate like those before him and more
