The Symphony Within

Turn the volume up

Block out the noises of the world

for my thoughts are all I need

for my thoughts are all I wish to hear

To rest my heart or for the tumult of my emotions 

Too many symphonies and too many sensations 

Plug out this cord 

let me escape to a dreamland

Dance in my room or cry myself to sleep

it can change my world and the dream I place myself in 

This symphony will never end

This turmoil will never cease 

These emotions control me 

Let me have it out  

Find peace within they say

but they don’t say how 

Too many feelings, too many thoughts

It could all go wrong but I want it to go right 

To scream out loud is all I want 

But to find peace is all a fraught 

Turn the volume to max for I wish not to hear
